6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Join us in celebrating the 200th anniversary of the publication of Jane Austen’s last novel,Persuasion, at our Austen inspired ball. The Jane Austen Ball at the Morse Institute Library is an after-hours event that will take place on Saturday December 9 from 6-9 PM. We will have live chamber music performed by Walnut Hill students, English country dancing tutorials by Fox Ballroom, a number of Jane Austen and other literary inspired games, and light refreshments, including tea provided by DAVIDsTEA. Costumes are of course encouraged but not required. This is a free ticketed event. Tickets will be available starting Monday, November 27th. 
To reserve tickets, please visit our main circulation desk or call 508-647-6520. One individual can reserve up to 4 tickets. Tickets reserved over the phone must be picked up at the circulation desk no later than Tuesday, December 5.

If you have reserved tickets but are unable to attend for any reason, please return the tickets or call the circulation desk at 508-647-6520 with your ticket numbers as soon as possible to release those tickets to other patrons on our waitlist.
