Enjoy an afternoon of magic and myth with #TolkienReadingDay! This is an annual event to celebrate the life and work of J. R. R. Tolkien. The library will host a reading day event for the whole family. Our library staff will be reading aloud selections from The Hobbit. "I love this book and have read it myself many times," says librarian Dave Bartos. "But it really came alive for me when I first read it aloud with my 4-year-old daughter." We'll have copies of the book available to check out so you can continue the journey at home with your family. We'll also have crafts, food, and a Tolkien costume contest!
