The Natick Historical Society is proud to present an illustrated talk on the Englishman who championed and chronicled the Praying Indians of Natick.

The speaker is Thomas M. Paine, a descendant of Daniel Gookin. Paine is the founder of Boston !NSP!RES, a consultancy focusing on the intersection of local history, historic preservation, and public space design. His forthcoming book, American Pluck: Unsung Boston Heroes Who Shaped Our World, offers a fresh take on Boston’s extraordinary legacy of courage and innovation.
