DESCRIPTION:EARTH DAY ALL AROUND NATICK\, April 27-28 will feature:\n– Events all over town created by residents\, families\, community groups\, and local organizations with opportunities for all to get outside\, interact\, learn\, and do something good for the Earth\, its living things\, and each other.\n– Earth-Friendly Fair on Natick Town Common\, with informational booths and family-friendly activities (details coming soon)\, Saturday 9am-1pm.\n– Repair Cafe (the fix is free!) at Natick Community Center\, Saturday 2:30-5:30pm. \nThinking of hosting an event?  Read this Event Host Guide 2-Pager and contact us!  We envision the festival will include a variety of hands-on\, educational\, and fun activities. You can be creative: backyard garden tours\, litter clean-ups\, home energy tours\, meditative walks – all ideas are welcome! \nThe Events page will offer details about the events around town – check back soon and often! \nYou’ll also find an interactive map here in early April. \nVolunteers welcome! If you want to help out\, before (or during) the festival\, even just an hour or two\, contact us!

DESCRIPTION:THE FIX IS FREE AT THE REPAIR CAFÉ! \nSponsored by Natick Rotary\, and as part of Earth Day All Around Natick\,  we will be conducting our 4th Repair Café Saturday\, April 27th\, from 2:30 -5:30 at\, and in conjunction with\, the Natick Community Senior Center’s  Council on Aging & Human Services.  \nIf you’re unfamiliar with Repair Cafés\, it’s an opportunity for people to bring a whole host of items needing repair that volunteers with skills in different disciplines will do their best to fix for free! We invite you to bring in the following items in need of repair: *Lamps\,  electronics & small appliances\, small furniture\, clean mendable clothing for hand and machine sewing\, as well as sharpen scissors\, garden tools\,  and knives (except for serrated knives).   \nFor those unfamiliar with Natick\, the Natick Community Senior Center is located at 117 E. Central St. (Rt. 135)\, on the right-hand side\, about a half mile before the Wellesley Town line.   \nFor more info\, or if you or someone you know might be able to help in  some capacity\, especially as a bike repair person\, please email Carey at NatickRepairCafe@gmail.com   \n* While we will have many parts and components on hand if your item requires special parts to increase the chances we can fix it\, please bring them.
