SUMMARY:2024 Natick Garden Club Plant Sale
DESCRIPTION:The Natick Garden Club invites all interested parties to our annual PLANT SALE.\nDoors open at 10 am\, Sunday\, June 2nd 2024. \nRain or shine\, as the event is held indoors\nat the Natick Community-Senior Center\, 117 East Central St.\, Natick\, MA.\nThe sale is our major fundraiser for the year. \nWe offer a variety of plants that have been\nproven to grow successfully in our sometimes challenging weather conditions. Most of\nthe plants are perennials from members’ gardens\, and are labeled for bloom time and\nseason\, height\, spacing needed\, and sun and moisture requirements. We promote native\nplants as well\, meaning they are native to this area\, and tolerant of drought conditions and\nexcellent at providing habitat for good insects and birds. This year we will introduce a\nsmall houseplant section. As always raffle tickets for a variety of items will be available\nand you need not be present to win. \nAll proceeds from the sale fund the Natick Garden Club\, a group devoted to civic\nbeautification and service in the Natick community. Cash\, check and credit card\naccepted. For more information please visit us at http://www.natickgardenclub.org/ or\non Facebook or Instagram. \nInfo on our club:\nOur mission is to promote a positive educational environment for sharing gardening\,\nhorticultural\, and conservation information and to encourage civic planting\,\nbeautification\, and service in the Natick community.\nOrganized in 1998 by three women\, the Natick Garden Club currently has about 100\nmembers. Members represent a range of ages\, genders\, and gardening acumen. All\nhave a passion to learn\, share\, and volunteer in service to their garden club. The NGC\nhas evening meetings September through May at Morse Library featuring a keynote\nspeaker\, with time for socialization and NGC business at the start. September and\nMarch are non-membership meetings and for the public at large. We have deep roots in\nNatick although draw members from several communities\, and can be found around\ntown in a variety of capacities throughout the year. The plant sale is our main fundraiser.
