DESCRIPTION:Come join for an exploration of solo repertoire for viola da gamba–starting with its polyphonic beginnings\, and the “poeticall musicke” of Tobias Hume; its zenith in France with the “pieces de violle” of le Sieur De Machy; and its twilight with the works of Carl Friedrich Abel.
