DESCRIPTION:Come join for an exploration of solo repertoire for viola da gamba–starting with its polyphonic beginnings\, and the “poeticall musicke” of Tobias Hume; its zenith in France with the “pieces de violle” of le Sieur De Machy; and its twilight with the works of Carl Friedrich Abel. This concert will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church\, 39 East Central St.\, Natick\, on April 11th\, at 2 pm. Thomas Conrad\, viol.\n\n$10 suggested donation. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fantastic evening of food\, shopping\, and family-friendly entertainment in the vibrant Natick Center Cultural District. \nHistorical Interpreters!\n \nMichele Gabrielson will be portraying Mercy Otis Warren. Find her on Instagram @the_revolutionary_classroom. Michele Gabrielson is an award-winning local history teacher and historic interpreter of the 18th century.  Ms. Gabrielson serves as the secretary for the nonprofit Mercy Otis Warren Society\, is a member of the Authenticity Standards Committee for Minuteman National Historic Park\, and is the coordinator for the Battle Road Guides for the annual reenactment of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. She was awarded a 2024 Rising Star Award for Public History by the Massachusetts History Alliance for her programming titled\, “The Revolutionary Classroom\,” and named a finalist for the 2024 Massachusetts History Teacher of the Year.  She was the Massachusetts Daughters of the American Revolution’s Outstanding History Teacher of the Year for 2025 and the 2025 winner of the Fred Graham Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Massachusetts Society of the Cincinnati. \nApply to run an activity booth here.
