A large screen displays a dynamic visual journey\, illustrating the celestial dance of the Earth\, Moon and Sun that culminates in a rare total solar eclipse that won’t be seen like this again in the greater Boston area for another 40 years! Pat delves into the mechanics of eclipses\, explaining the alignment that casts the Moon’s shadow upon Earth and how well you’ll be able to see it where you live. All registered participants will receive a pair of authorized eclipse safety viewing glasses.
