Natick Service Council is an advocacy, referral, case management, and information center serving the most economically disadvantaged members of our community. We help clients meet basic needs for food, housing, and access to health care with the goal of promoting self-sufficiency. We are guided by the motto “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” and serve our fellow community members with dignity, compassion, and confidentiality.

About The Natick Service Council

 

Mission Statement

Natick Service Council is an advocacy, referral, case management, and information center serving the most economically disadvantaged members of our community. We help clients meet basic needs for food, housing, and access to health care with the goal of promoting self-sufficiency. We are guided by the motto “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” and serve our fellow community members with dignity, compassion, and confidentiality.

What We Do
NSC provides a broad range of human and social services programs to our clients, including:

Case Management
Many local families and individuals receive case management services, including direct services, information, and advocacy services.

Food Security
The Vi Tutuny Food Pantry and Heart Healthy Food Pantries provide food and household supplies to our clients.

Emergency Financial Assistance
Families receive emergency financial assistance for rent, home heating fuel, utilities, and after school programs, including tutoring, summer camps, the arts, and sports related programs.

The Living Well Project
A behavioral health and substance abuse screening service program for our clients.

The Joan H. Brack Career Development Center
NSC clients can utilize our employment and/or training programs.

Holiday Programs
Seasonal programs that include Thanksgiving meal baskets, and gifts to celebrate the holidays.

After School Enrichment
Students receive after school enrichment funding and backpacks full of school supplies.

Access to the Arts
NSC partners with local arts schools and community organizations, including Walnut Hill School and The Center for the Arts in Natick, to increase our clients’ access to arts programs, shows, and camps.
