Every year, the District hosts a variety of events, bringing the community and members together, to celebrate the arts and culture while building a deeper connection within the community.
An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until October 14, 2023
IT’S SHOPPING DAY!!
Early access from 9-11 am on Friday, October 13th for those patrons that dropped unused or unwanted craft items and get first pick of what’s available. At 11 am the Craft Swap will open to the general public.
General public shopping on Friday, October 14 from 9am – 3pm.
Do I have to donate a certain amount of stuff to get an early access ticket?
No, we don’t judge. Drop off stuff, get a ticket! It’s that easy
Do I have to donate crafts in order to participate in the swap?
No, you will be able to “shop: from Friday October 13th at 11am through 4pm and on Saturday, October 14th from 9am – 3pm.
I have a couple of shoe boxes full of beads and metal wire. I don’t have time to sort it all out. Can I just drop it off and be done with it?
We gently ask that all donated craft supplies have containers (i.e. please don’t give us a handful of beads) and be clean and free of damage. These should be new or gently-used items you would like to find a home.
Am I limited in how many craft supplies I can take?
No, there is no limit to the amount of free craft supplies you can take with you. The only thing we ask is to please be respectful to other folks who also might be interested in items, and to always be kind.
Will you have bags or containers on hand for me to put all my stuff in?
We cannot guarantee bags will be available, so we recommend you bring your own bags or containers.
