The BFL is happy to display Visual Music, mixed media works by Kevin Baldwin. These works utilize musical elements and experiences, from notation to listening or performing, to offer a new way of experiencing what music can be.
Visual Music will be displayed in the Bacon Free Library from June 16th through July 26th. Come in and enjoy!
Kevin Baldwin, of Natick, is an international artist, composer, and saxophonist with extensive training in modern musical techniques. Since completing his Doctorate in Music Composition, Kevin has received residencies and commissions worldwide, including at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, GE. Kevin is renowned for championing the saxophone in contemporary solo and chamber ensembles, called “…precise and energetic…” by The New York Times.
