Every year, the District hosts a variety of events, bringing the community and members together, to celebrate the arts and culture while building a deeper connection within the community.
The Walnut Hill School for the Arts Voice Department is happy to present this famous parody of the Orpheus myth, with music by Jacques Offenbach. We will re-mount our pandemic-interrupted production from 2020: a brand new one-act version in contemporary English with homage to the 1980’s. Featuring an incredible cast of voice and music majors, a student chamber orchestra, and collaborations from Writing, Film & Media Arts students and Dance majors. This satirical romp through Heaven and Hell is not to be missed!
