Henry Wilson: Natick’s Mark on the Nation

July 30, 2023@4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join Natick podcast creator and researcher Lincoln Anniballi, for his talk about politician, abolitionist, and US Vice President  Henry Wilson in “Henry Wilson: Natick’s Mark on the Nation.”

A lifelong resident of Henry Wilson’s adopted hometown of Natick, Lincoln Anniballi grew up in the Henry Wilson Historic District, lived on the same road as Wilson , drove past the Henry Wilson Shoe Shop every day, and even attended Wilson Middle School, yet knew very little about the person whose name he saw everywhere. In 2020 Lincoln began researching Wilson’s life and in 2021 got the idea to turn his research into a biographical podcast. A student of political science and history at Hofstra University, Lincoln has spent much of his free time researching and producing “Henry Wilson & the Civil War.”

The talk at the Natick History Museum is free and open to the public, but attendees are encouraged to register here.

Participants are invited to join the Natick Historical Society for a summer gathering at 5:00pm in Shaw Park following the talk.
