Natick Cooperative Playgroup (NCP) is a nonprofit organization established by area families to provide a social environment for children under the age of six and to build connections between MetroWest parents, grandparents and caregivers. NCP was formed over 40 years ago and is made up of member volunteers. Our goal is to provide a unique multi-age opportunity for families in Natick and surrounding communities. We welcome parents, grandparents and caregivers to attend with their children!
Two-hour playgroup sessions are offered weekdays (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) from September through May. Each session is loosely structured and includes time for free play, an allergy-friendly snack, a simple craft activity and circle time. Our age appropriate toys bouncers and sensory toys for infants. Additionally, we provide riding toys, play structures, slides, play tools and food with kitchen and a train set for toddlers.
Special events are held throughout the year for all members. Some of these events include a Halloween parade and school vacation party with a performer for the children. Also, evening socials are hosted for the adults, providing a forum for members to meet one another and enjoy a night out.
We have two memberships available: single morning or multi morning. Upon registration, the member picks their playgroup day of the week and attends that day for the entire year. This enables the children and adults to have a weekly routine of fun and friendship.
