We have an enormous collection of wood and metal frames, and we can order ovals and specialty acrylic display boxes made to any size. Most of our frames are built in our Natick Shop by experienced craftsmen. The exception is our large selection of closed corner frames. These frames are ordered to the size of your artwork, built as raw wood, and then the finish is applied. Usually these are gold or silver leaf finishes.  

We carry regular, non-glare, conservation, non-glare conservation, anti-reflective and Museum glass, which shows colors perfectly while protecting your artwork from damaging UV rays, as well as regular and non-glare acrylic. A museum quality acrylic has recently been developed and is available at The Frame Shop.  We also offer plain and textured Print Guard, a permanent, heat-set coating similar to lamination. Ours design staff will be happy to recommend the appropriate glazing for your project.

We carry only acid-free mats, and have a large selection of 100% rag mats and buffered mats in any color you can imagine, even textured and fabric mats. We have a computerized mat cutter, the best equipment available in the industry. It allows us to cut ovals, circles, letters, straight cuts and fancy corners with complete accuracy, and can cut as many openings as you need in up to a 40” x 60” mat. We offer calligraphy by a professional calligrapher and French mats onsite. We can also program logos and cut free form images into mat boards.

We have a large selection of art, both framed and unframed, from posters, photographs to limited edition prints.  We also feature ongoing shows by local artists in our gallery. Opening receptions are listed on our website under the "Events"  listing.
